About BarDoom

BarDoom started as a shared notes file between three friends who kept ending up in the same cities for work and arguing about where to drink afterward. At some point the notes file got long enough that it made more sense as a page than a group chat.

There's no editorial team, no advertising, and no bar has ever paid to be listed — most of them don't know this site exists. If that changes and it starts to affect what gets written, we'll say so here.

We're not trying to cover every bar in every city. We're trying to keep a short, honest list of places worth your evening, and to say plainly when somewhere isn't.
